Excellent inventory of useful tools. To the Word Processing list, I would recommend adding 'Whizfolders'. It is a combination outliner and word processor that allows you to cut, paste, organize not just within one document but among many open documents or chapters in your entire work in process. Very user friendly, and intuitive. I gave up MS Word for it! Google it, and try for free.
